This beautiful fresh rainy Sunday morning we, Matsubayashi International Furin Karate Dojo, had another amazing opportunity to broaden our view on martial arts. Under guidance of our guest John Verhoeven sensei (4 dan of SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO) of Furinkazan-Oisterwijk, we worked on ZANSHIN (残心), the “residual mind”. It is not an easy topic to teach and even more difficult topic to practice! We are really thankful to John sensei for sharing his knowledge, philosophy and practical approach on the matter.
